Super raffle for doll lovers

- Tamlyn Jolly

MEMBERS of the CANSA Richards Bay committee are raffling a porcelain doll to raise funds for the CANSA House of Richards Bay.

Baby Hope Richards as she has been temporarily named, was handmade by a porcelain doll maker in Cape Town and comes with her own birth certificate, christening outfit, bottle, and blanket.

‘We have given her a temporary name, but the lucky winner of the raffle can rename her as they please,’ said Marlene Slabbert, the CANSA committee member who is Baby Hope’s carer until the raffle is drawn.

‘This beautifully made doll is ideal for all doll lovers of any age, and the funds are going to a good cause.’

Raffle tickets cost R50 and those wanting to enter can deposit the money into the CANSA bank account (details below) and email their proof of payment to xncube@cansa.org.za.

The draw will take place just before Christmas, making Baby Hope Richards an ideal Christmas gift.
