Myeni and Jobe swing to overall victory

W Myeni and T Jobe could do nothing wrong on the golf course on Saturday at the New Horizon Ministries sponsored day held at the Richards Bay Country Club, which resulted in their overall victory.

The duo took advantage of the 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford format and carded 50 points on the day.

Myeni, who plays off a 10 handicap, scratched together four birdies and nine pars during his round, collecting 22 points on both the front and back nine.

His partner Jobe played off a 24 handicap and recorded 24 points on the front nine and 26 points on the back nine.

Jobe managed two pars during his round.

T Gqoalkrish­na and Y Balgobind were not too far off the pace with their 47 points which earned them second place after winning a count out with third placed N Mcwany and B Mthembu who also ended on 47 points.
