Victims held at gunpoint during robberies in Mzingazi
TWO Mzingazi homes were broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning, with the residents in both cases being threatened by armed robbers.
The first break-in occurred just before 1am.
According to police records, an armed man broke a window from the outside and pointed a firearm at the resident.
A second suspect broke down the front door and entered the house.
Numerous items were stolen before the suspects fled.
The second break-in occurred at 3am on the same morning.
A woman was inside her home with her two children when a suspect kicked down her door and threatened her at knife point.
He stole numerous items before fleeing the scene.
The cases are being investigated by Richards Bay SAPS.
