New licensing centre for Nkandla motorists
TO improve service delivery, Nkandla Municipality has opened a vehicle licensing center for local motorists.
The centre will be used by the rural community to renew and apply for new driver’s licences.
Nkandla Mayor Thamsanqa Ntuli said the centre will relieve local motorists of the burden of having to travel long distances to apply for driver’s licences.
‘This is an initiative aimed at bringing services closer to our people. On behalf of the municipality we wish to thank the KZN Department of Transport for granting us permission to have such a facility in our area.
The event was also attended by IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
