Fight on for provincial trials team selection

LOCAL darts players had to be sharp competing in the first round of the Empangeni Darts Association trials held at Sorted Sports Bar on Saturday.

The association has over 30 registered players and is looking to finalise its team to compete in the KZN trials in Durban in March.

Sixteen players attended the first round, following a best of three 501 round robin format.

Only fourteen players and two reserves will be selected for the provincial trials.

The second round will take place on Saturday, 8 December, followed by the third and final round on Saturday, 2 February.

Venues still need to be confirmed.
