Tree of light to shine for Hospice

THE pub­lic is in­vited to the an­nual Zu­l­u­land Hospice Tree of Light cer­e­mony which will take place next Tues­day (27 Novem­ber) at 6pm at the Zu­l­u­land Ob­server gar­dens.

The pur­pose is to shine a light in mem­ory and ap­pre­ci­a­tion of the life of a lost loved one.

Ded­i­ca­tions will be recorded in the Tree of Light book. Ded­i­ca­tion forms can be com­pleted at Zu­l­u­land Hospice or on the night at a cost of R50.

The pro­gramme will in­clude uplift­ing and in­spi­ra­tional mes­sages, trib­utes to Zu­l­u­land Hospice as well as mu­sic items.

All pro­ceeds will be used to pro­vide com­fort, care, com­pas­sion and coun­selling to the pa­tients and fam­i­lies of Zu­l­u­land Hospice.

The pub­lic is en­cour­aged to bring blan­kets and chairs.

En­trance is free and food and soft drinks will be on sale.
