Engines set to rev at the car show

POWERSTAR Trucks Empangeni will host a car show this month at the Umfolozi Casino Resort in Empangeni.

At last year’s event the casino’s overflow parking area was a hive of activity with fast cars, old cars and fancy cars on display.

This year Powerstar will again bring a mobile dyno machine to this popular event so that locals with hot cars can get proof of what their wheels are capable of.

At last year’s show, a modified C63 had the crowd roaring when it turned out 562kW and just under

1 000 Newtons.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, 27 October and entry for the public is R10 per person, with children under 12 free.

Many of the local car dealers will have their
