Bandits storm in to snatch the crown
THE Back 9 Bandits team of Andrew Goddard, Graeme Woods, Brian Swift and Shaun Leslie took the fastest route from the first tee box to the 19th hole when competing at the Nsimango golf tournament held at the KwaMbonambi Golf Club over the weekend.
They carded 155 points over two days to claim victory, edging out FigJam on 151 points.
Players took to the course in soaking conditions, following a 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford format on Saturday, and a Foursomes (alternative shots) format on Sunday.
Team 3+1 found conditions tricky and earned the Most Golf award after recording 95 points.
