Squashing the competition

THE Zululand A and B teams rallied their way to an overall second place finish at the 36th annual Laurie Dunker Squash Tournament held over the weekend at Vanderbijlpark.

Teams followed a round robin system, collecting points with the final log positions being the final place finishes.

Vanderbijlpark, Zululand, Newcastle and Gauteng Invitational locked horns over the two days.

Albero Els, Francho Else, Jeremy Kirkwood and Maarteen Dippenaar represented the Zululand A team, with Pierre Els, Jacques Spence, Vino Pillay and Ntokozo Mngomezulu representing the Zululand B team.
