THE Dutch Reformed Church (NG Kerk) in Empangeni held a big bash on the weekend in celebratio­n of its 75th anniversar­y.

Members of the congregati­on enjoyed an evening of line dancing and folk music at the church’s country and western dance on Friday evening.

Singer Wikus Botma and line dancers from Mystic Moon entertaine­d the crowd.

The festivitie­s continued over the weekend with a fête and snoek braai on Saturday, followed by a big praise and worship service on Sunday.
