A jam-packed poetry session at Ngwelezana

Local poets left their hearts and souls on stage during the second annual Lacikoza Iciko Poetry presentation at uThungulu Community Hall in Ngwelezana on Saturday. The jam-packed spoken word session featured the likes of SATMA award-winning poet Mbalenhle ‘Magcwabe’ Mkhize-Mabaso, Imbongi Kamajoka, Gugu Zikhali, Floetry and Imbongi Yamandla, to name a few.

The second community initiative is headed by local poet Vusi Mvubu AKA ‘Mvubu the Poet’ with the aim of showcasing young upcoming poets from across the region.

Reciting for the audience is SATMA award-winning poet Mbali Magcwabe Mkhize
