Ntando always on the move
GRANTHAM Park Primary School’s Ntando Mathenjwa has her sights set on becoming an advocate one day to represent the people and let the truth prevail.
The 13-year-old Grade 7 pupil is a prefect and a member of the Astro Quiz Club at school.
The outgoing youngster is a member of Star Dancers and received the highest mark in Zululand at the 2018 Eisteddfod, and 92 per cent for her dance exam earlier this year.
On the sport front, Ntando is a member of her school’s swiming team, U13A netball team (captain), U13A soccer side, the Victrix Ludorum winner at the recent inter-house athletics meeting and holder of the U13 girls 3km record.
She was also recently selected for the Northern Coastal team in cross-country.
She trains five times a week for 30 minutes on stamina and strength.
The determined youngster aims at achieving more in her athletic career and improve her grades.
