Beautification warriors at work

-

TWO women, Elize Boshoff and Chandre Minaar, have taken it upon themselves to beautify a part of the city by painting the wooden roadside poles along Davidson Lane, the road leading to Alkantstrand.

Meerensee resident Zelda Willemse happened upon the girls on Monday while walking down to the beach, her eye catching their handiwork.

Chatting to them, they said they wanted to give the old derelict wooden poles a new lease of life and, in so doing, help make the area look a bit spruced up and more attractive to visitors.

If anyone with some time on their hands is willing to support the two young creatives, they would gladly welcome the help.
