Chill times in Zini

- Wellington Makwakwa

Music, dance, traditional food and great conversations ruled at the Africa in the Shade shindig at Dube Station (Nature’s Way) in Mtunzini on Saturday.

The laid-back session began with a unique dance sequence by the Izangoma Dancers, followed by artist Swazi Manama who took centre

stage with his powerful musical poetry.

Back from her overseas trip, musician Bavikile Ngema also made a stop at the station and teamed up with actress and instrumentalist, Thandekile Ngema. Renowned musician

Mbuso Khoza added further lustre to the event.

Apart from the music sessions, a potjie competition between Karabo and TP Mabaso and star gazing at the camping site were some of the other activities pursued.
