Hluhluwe Primary School learners shine

HLUHLUWE Primary School learners excelled at the district Mental Mathematics Challenge held at Khulani Special School recently.

Megan du Pont finished third in the Grade 4 section, Hannah Taylor third in the Grade 5 category and Aphile Makamo second in the Grade 6 section.

Makamo will now participate in the provincial challenge in Pietermaritzburg later this year.

Seven learners participated in the recent Zululand Spelling Bee event at Mtuba Christian Academy.

Hluhluwe’s Emmanuel Ruscoe claimed top honours in the Grade 5 category and won a R500 stationery gift voucher.
