Family lives in fear

THE man detained by police over the weekend after members of the public apprehended and attacked him for allegedly attempting to kidnap a teenager in Aquadene on Friday, was released after no criminal charges were formulated against him.

He was accused of attempting to lure two domestic workers, young schoolchildren and a 16-year-old teenager into his vehicle.

The mother of the teenage girl said she was disappointed about his release, because their family would now live in fear.
