Human trafficking is a scary reality
This letter is in response to ZO Monday’s front page story dated 5 August entitled ‘Bay kidnapping scare’.
It is crucially important that the affected women in this incident come forward and open charges at the Richards Bay police station.
If not, there is no tangible evidence to apprehend such perpetrators.
With human trafficking and kidnapping
being a major problem in Zululand, any leads in helping to crack possible syndicates operating in the area are paramount and much-needed. While the actions of the community in apprehending and beating the suspect in this specific case are unlawful, one can understand their frustration and anger.

We need to stand together as a community to rid society of such evils. WORRIED PARENT
