Zululand creatives take talk show online
Local creatives are not allowing the coronavirus pandemic to put them down. While the entertainment industry in general is still in lockdown, two Zululand creatives - Nosipho ‘Nos Royale’ Mkhize and Mbuyiselo Vilakazi - have established a live virtual talk show using video conferencing technology (Zoom).
The ‘Lockdown Chat with Nos and Mbuyi’ show uplifts, rebuilds and develops youth-lead communities during the current restrictions.
They host guests representing various fields and discuss issues around, for example, the tourism industry, music and other art forms and technology.
Nosipho is a well known contemporary ballet dancer who is behind the ‘Arts Business Bootcamp’ initiative, while Mbuyi is a social entrepreneur and a legal practitioner known for community development initiatives.
