How could we have imagined that in this year - our last year of school - we would face a challenge so poignant it invoked comparisons to the effects a world war would have on every aspect of society?

I feel honoured to be representing such a dynamic, strong group of matrics. Honoured and proud to have been a Felixtonian, but most importantly

I feel immensely privileged to have been afforded the opportunity to attend a school where teachers show such loyalty and complete ownership of helping scholars to achieve their very best in such dire times. Felixton College, you are so much more than a school. You have been my family and I will forever be grateful!

Cleopatra was just 18 - like we are - when she became Queen of the Nile.

You too, are now standing on the precipice, trembling before your own greatness.

The world is waiting for you - set it on fire!

Where do I begin? It feels like just the other day I was entering high school.

I have really learnt the importance of the role that your school plays in your life and on shaping the person you become during your formative years.

I am a firm believer that ‘you are the people with whom you surround yourself’ and I have been incredibly blessed to have been surrounded by my ‘family’ at Felixton College.

To our extraordinary teachers, I cannot thank you enough.

To our 2021 Grade 12 group: I expect only great things from you and my only advice would be to cherish your time at Felixton College. My school has certainly turned me into the person I am today and I would not trade my time there for the world. It really is the small things that make all the difference - from the cheery greetings in the morning, to the personal encouragement from the teachers and coaches - every nuance is what makes our school one of which I am so proud to have been a part.
