Mayor on a mission to fix potholes
UMLALAZI Mayor, Cllr CT Dlamini, has launched Operation 'Val'Pothole' in eShowe on Monday, a pothole repair campaign as part of his ongoing Khuculula Mondays drive to improve service delivery.
Working together with municipal managers, councillors, officials and employees, the campaign began in Theatre Lane where officials fixed potholes.
‘The mayor and his team started here because it will benefit the society as a whole.
This road is mostly used by commuters and traders,' said municipal communications manager Mkhuseli Buthelezi.
The aim is to identify all areas which need fixing and ensure towns and townships within our municipality are free of potholes.’
