Local comedian publishes new novel
HOMEGROWN comedian and MC, Mfanafuthi Ngema will launch his new book, entitled ‘Bengingazi’ at Shameless Lifestyle in KwaDlangezwa on Saturday.
According to the author, the novel is an IsiZulu court drama filled with twists and turns.
It’s about a man wrongly accused and an investigator who manages to dig out the truth.
‘The story was inspired by many people I know who have been accused of crimes they didn’t commit. Even though this is fictional, it speaks to many people, and readers will love the drama and thrill,’ said Mfanafuthi.
The launch will include various entertainment from the likes of wellknown comedians Gqonqa and Skaqakaqa, as well as poets such as Zamo Cofi and Abel the Poet.
Musicians, including MTB, Madlokoza, Qhawelezulu and others will be part of the killer music line-up, while Uzalo actor Mlondi will MC the event.
