Concerned over Richards Bay filth in public places

Iam concerned over the filth and smell of Richards Bay CBD, especially in the vicinity of the various shopping malls.

Doesn't uMhlathuze have by-laws with regards to public drinking? People seem to drink freely in the parking areas around the malls and leave a lot of litter lying around.

They also urinate all over, making the whole place smell. What is surprising is that uMhlathuze Municipality offices are also in the vicinity.

Between the City of uMhlathuze and the owners of the various malls, someone needs to take responsibility. It is disturbing, especially when travelling with children, to see people drinking, littering and urinating in public without any care or accountability.
