Diski boys put up a great fight

DOWN 2-0 at the break, Richards Bay FC’s U23 side rallied and came out to a super second-half performance against Kaizer Chiefs at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale on Sunday.

The Multichoice Diski Challenge encounter could have gone either way and the only goal in the second stanza came from the on-form Yanela Mbuthuma in the 80th minute to make it 2-1.

The young man has been on target for some time and is certainly eyeing a regular place in the DStv side.

Meanwhile, the side is steadily making good progress as they gain experience and will be looking for more wins when the season resumes after the World Cup break.
