THE CUBAN FLAVOR OF GENESIS
A pictorial extension of “Sabor cubano” —the tittle of the book by Patricia Belatti that was published in Mexico in 2015—, curated by Miguel Ángel García Piñero and José Camilo López Valls, was inaugurated last March with a list of front-line artists: Nelson Domínguez, Liang Domínguez Fong, Michel Mirabal, Arturo Montoto, Nelson Ramírez and singer-songwriter Kelvis Ochoa, who prepared several dishes of Cuban cuisine. Accompanying them in this endeavor were Eduardo Roca Salazar (Choco), Arturo Montoto, Flora Fong, Alberto Lescay, Alicia Leal, Juan Moreira, Liudmila Velasco (photography), Arián Irsula López, Leo Canosa (tattoo), Joniel León Marrero and Ignacio Urquiza (Mexican photographer). Gallery, Nelson Domínguez's Studio-worhavana, in an environment very in tune with the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the Cuban capital.
