LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

BASQUE LUXURY MAGAZINE is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, and to commemorate this important date, we have decided to go beyond our borders by debuting a new International Section in which some of the most luxurious destinations of the world will be discovered. Our first international report is about Switzerland, a country to which we will travel to get to know cities and regions as beautiful as Zurich, the Lake of the Four Cantons, St. Moritz, and Geneva.

The cover of BASQUE LUXURY MAGAZINE 2020 also has an international flair:woody Allen has just filmed his latest movie in the Basque Country and we wanted to pay tribute to him by naming him our figure of the year.

Having said that,woody Allen is not the only great talent that accompanies us on these pages, as we also feature, amongst others, two prestigious partner firms, Chef Pedro Subijana, and the director of the San Sebastián Film Festival, José Luis Rebordinos, as well as an exclusive interview with writer Frédéric Beigbeder – one of the moment’s most unconventional authors.
