González Larrauri

JEWELER

-

González Larrauri is a renowned jewelry shop in San Sebastián that specializes mainly in contemporary jewelry for women. Trying to make the shop’s collection as personal as possible, its owners visit national and international fairs to select pieces that anyone can fall in love with from amongst the large firms and small craftsmen. They try to surprise their regular customers and occasional visitors with rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets, and earrings both for daily life and for more special moments in one’s personal and family life.

Through individualized attention that is tailored to each customer’s specific needs, and with a collection of maximum-quality pieces that are carefully finished, this shop has been able to become part of the current informal fashion world – without forgetting, of course, its roots as a classical jewelry shop.

González Larrauri also offers a wide range of engagement and wedding rings in yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold –with and without diamonds– whose finishings can be polished, martelé, sandblasted, or satin.

In terms of watchmaking, they work with the classic Swiss brand Ebel, linked to modern architecture, Frederique Constant, the maison in Geneva that is renowned for its creation of affordable luxury watches, and Meistersinger, a German company famous for its single-hand watches. That last brand produces limited editions of some cities, its ‘City Edition’ collection, which is special in that the back of the watch has a viewing window where the mechanism inside can be seen and which comes complete with the city skyline. In the case of the watch commemorating San Sebastián, in addition to the city silhouette, the bezel of the back cover includes an inscription that includes part of the March of San Sebastián: Donostia bat bakarra munduan (There is only one San Sebastián and it is unique in all the world).

The cheerful colors and designs of the watches by L. Bruat, Scuderia, and Alpina, not to forget the magnificent Qlocktwo –which gives the time with letters in multiple languages (available in wall clock, table clock, and wristwatch format)– all help to round off the shop window at González Larrauri. These elegant collections mark the passage of the years for this legendary establishment that has been in business since 1923.
