BASQUE LUXURY STUDIO

Inaugurated at the end of 2018 in San Sebastián, BASQUE LUXURY STUDIO is the place where most of the Basque Country Luxury Association’s activities come together. This elegant studio is where BASQUE LUXURY MAGAZINE is edited and where the brand’s products are sold (towels, bottles of water, umbrellas, magazines, etc.).the space doubles as an art gallery which combines the exhibition of BASQUE LUXURY’S own collection of paintings and sculptures with temporary exhibitions by local artists.the first exhibition was dedicated to the artist Víctor Goikoetxea, an exhibition in which his abstract sculpture paintings came up against his more figurative side. In 2020, the Basque-venezuelan artist Miguel Balliache took the baton with an exhibition of large-scale expressionist paintings and clay and terracotta sculptures. In 2021, the guest artist is José Zugasti, one of the most renowned contemporary sculptors in the region.

In addition to art shows, BASQUE LUXURY STUDIO organizes meetings, concerts, and conferences that are open to the public and aim to generate knowledge. In terms of the events held so far, noteworthy is the Forum on Architecture and Interior Design, as well as a presentation on Luxury Travel Around the World and a concert by the group Código Bushido. In 2021, we will follow along the same path of cultural dissemination with a schedule of activities for the transmission and development of knowledge.
