The conversion of one of Switzerland’s most well-known hotels, the Eden au Lac, into an establishment owned by the La Réserve chain has not gone unnoticed; especially since it became known that the remodel would be under the direction of the always controversial Philippe Starck. Not satisfied with a simple facelift, Starck has completely transformed the hotel by introducing a new leitmotif: the establishment’s conception as an imaginary yacht club.

The hotel has two exceptional gastronomic spaces: the first, Eden Kitchen & Bar, offers an open kitchen of international inspiration headed up by the Italian Executive Chef, Marco Ortolani; the second restaurant, La Muña, is located on the building’s rooftop and it is made up of a vaulted interior space and two separate terraces with views of the lake. Chef Miya Gunji has created a Peruvian-japanese menu for this restaurant that has made the locals fall in love.
