There was 1 Monday Night Game and a full Premier League programme at the weekend which contributed to the Fantasy League 28 goals, 6 clean sheets,47 yellow cards and I'm pleased to say the referees kept their red cards in their pockets for the 3rd time this season.

At the top of the Fantasy League Rachel's team Blue Murder moved up 2 places to 2nd spot and are now only 13 points behind the leaders Steve's Cowden Red Devils. Pauline's Vodka Army remain in 3rd place while Jarrod's team We R Leeds have slipped down 2 places to 4th. Down at the foot of the table Les's team Have Not Got a Clue suffered a major blow before the transfer window closed when Chelsea shipped out Fernando Torres to A.C.Milan. His other 2 strikers West Ham's Andy Carroll and Arsenal's Giroud are both out injured so things are not looking to good for Les's aptly named team.

The Golden Boot League which is sponsored by Leonard Knowles Construction has still got Jarrod's team We R Leeds setting the pace at the top. Neil's 7 Palms Playa Poniente are close by only 7 points behind the leaders while Karen's Florida Pearls have moved smoothly into 3rd place. At the other end of the scale Les 's team Have Not Got a Clue have only scored 5 points this season and that was when Arsenal's Giroud scored that stunning equaliser against Everton earlier in the season.

Rocky's Mini Spurs have kept a grip on the top spot of our UK TV Spain Junior League despite Harley's team Ginger Ninja closing the gap at the top to a very narrow 4 point margin. Billy's team How's Your Father top scored in this section with 44 points which helped his team climb up 7 places to 3rd. At the other end of the table Calum's team Ree's Red Devils moved out of the drop zone and left Adam's team What's the Point rooted in the bottom spot.

In our Mark Carter Ladies section Rachel's team Blue Murder have taken over the summit from Pauline's Vodka Army but only with a small 3 point advantage. We also have a change at the bottom with Winnie's Le Hombre Rioja swapping places with Gil's Kippax.

We have 2 teams heading into the Premier Imports Draw for a case of fine wine at the end of the month and they are Billy's team Billy the Yid who bagged 49 points this week and Linda's team Tapas V.I.P. who inished up with a minus 4. Everton's Leighton Baines didn't help her with that missed pen at Old Trafford. Last month's winner was Charlie's team Coblanca XI.

Manager of the Month for October is being kindly sponsored by Wyn at Wyndhams in Albir who produce high quality food at reasonable prices. With only 1 week gone Billy the Yid has taken a 5 point advantage over 3 teams, Jin's Dream Team, Andy's Albir Hotspurs and Billy's How's Your Father who are all on 44 points.

Fastest moving team this week was Billy's Billy the Yid who moved up 77 places to number 136 which qualifies him for a super breakfast for 2 at Rafters sponsored by Kate.

At the time of going to press I have not had time to collate all the scores for our K.O.Cup competition but if they are any draws the replays will take place the weekend after the international break. I'm sure by the time you read this Report all the results will be up on our website which is www.alfazffl.com.

If you can't access a computer you can always call in Hepburns in Albir where you will be able to see all the tables and results on their notice boards or if you want you can always call in The Local also in Albir and visit me at weekend for all the latest Fantasy League News.
