Ten Pin Bowling League

-

Tuesday Night Trios

Week two played October 7 Sponsored by: Furniture First Rojales After their flying start last week, Los Bandidos had hoped to continue with another victory. But Splash had other ideas and, took the first two games. If it wasn't for Maurice Allens 216 scratch game, LB would have been pointless on the night.

So, a 6 -2 win for Splash, sees them move up to second in the league. Caballo Negro bounced back from their loss last week, with a comfortable 8 - 0 win against Belgas Torrevieja 2.

Eija Suomi of CN bowling the Ladies high game scratch and handicap with 201 & 227, and high series h/c 564. Once BT2 get their settled handicaps, I'm sure they will start collecting points.

After their great 6 -2 win over Team Finland last week, Crazy Pinz were confident they could 'take' The Med Bistro Bar El Raso but, they were brought back down to earth.

With Lesley Day bowling the Ladies high series scratch of 517 and Tony Ray rolling a 224 scr & 237 h/c game, MBB took all 8 points and, confirmed their position at the top of the league. Team Finland were in no mood to lose two games in a row and, completely overwhelmed Juan's Warriors 8 - 0. Lucky Strike played out a 4 - 4 draw with The Dreamers, who had Ulf Grondahl bowling a fine 165 scr game.

The Mixers took on the reigning champions Split Happens and, after three consistent and close games, a 4 - 4 draw was a fair result.

Los Lobos were hoping for a better result this week and, after taking the first game against Right Move Insurance, things were looking up.

But after two further very close games, it was RMI who came out on top 6 - 2.

Our first raffle of the new season produced a great response from the league and, many thanks to all who donated prizes on the night.
