Musgrave España starts 2017 with a commitment to AECC*

Musgrave España have signed an agreement in conjunction with AECC Alicante Province which covers three main areas of mutual collaboration: promoting the Cancer Association’s informative and fundraising campaigns, holding cancer prevention talks for employees, and explaining the corresponding medical services.
The first charity event is being held on 22nd and 23rd December at DIALPRIX supermarkets in Alicante City and Elche – AECC volunteers and collaborators will be at the supermarkets on these days, handing out information and raising funds in aid of the cancer charity. Musgrave España will be donating 3% of the proceeds from sales at Alicante and Elche Dialprix stores on these days.
Musgrave have also promised to donate 3% of all proceeds taken on inauguration days, every time a new Dialprix supermarket opens in Alicante Province, or when reformed premises are reopened.
In February 2017, DIALPRIX supermarkets are sponsoring the AECC Race, in which some 3,000 people are expected to participate - Dialprix will be providing material supplies and the shirt numbers for everyone enrolled in the race.
AECC will be holding a number of talks and prevention seminars for employees of the company and its franchisees, providing medical checkups, and also offering psychological care for patients and their relatives.
In 2016, Musgrave España played a role of great solidarity, in particular supporting the Association of Women Affected by Breast Cancer (Elche and surrounding areas). The company recently participated in a ‘grand food collection’ campaign for food banks, and have been collaborating with soup kitchens, throughout the four provinces where the Dialprix supermarkets are located.
