Craft & Food Fair in Finestrat
This weekend, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April, Finestrat will be holding a Traditional Craft & Food Fair on the streets of the historic old town.
It will be a weekend for the entire family to enjoy with around 60 artisan craft stalls, local produce, traditional gastronomy, demonstrations of ancient crafts such as ironwork, wood carving, clay stone, silk and silver work, Valencian music and plenty to keep the children amused with workshops, puppet shows, musicians and even hot air ballooning which will be concentrated in the Plaza de la Unión Europea!
Members of the Women’s Association will also be taking part with live cooking demonstrations of some traditional recipes and you will also be able to purchase some locally sourced produce such as honey, ‘mistela’ (sweet wine) and cake.
