Dear members and guests thanks to you all for turning up on a Tuesday for our monthly game. As promised I said the sun would be out in full force what I didn’t know was that the wind was also going to out in equal force. Which meant that the scoring was lower than usual and the number of lost balls increased pro rata. A total of 103 balls were donated to La Galiana and the lucky winner of €42 was Luis Ricardo.

Once the cobwebs had been blown away never to be seen again I think everyone enjoyed the game regardless of the conditions. I must emphasis and I know it’s an old cliché but the course was in perfect condition.

The recent maintenance on the greens was well rewarded as they were near perfect, fast and slick. If you didn’t putt well it was either the wind or your miss judgement either way they were superb.

When we all got back to the clubhouse to have a beer or coffee and relax everyone was recounting there lucky and not so lucky shots but all were saying what a good day they had had. Unfortunately we still have our onward going injury list where I thought we had it under control people are still suffering from numerous injuries.

As summer approaches let’s hope that everyone’s aches and pains decrease and our numbers return to normal. In a nutshell it was a great day just a little on the breezy side.

Look forward to seeing you all next month, cheers for now. If anyone wants to join us for a great days golf our next game is on May 14. For further information please email us valldignagolfsoc@hotmail.com
