Holy Week - Church of England Services

-

Easter is the most special festival of the church year. Here on the Costa Blanca the Church of England joins Christians around the world, as we mark the most important dates of Holy Week, known as 'Semana Santa' here in Spain, and of Easter itself. The details of services and related celebrations are below. Everyone is very welcome at any of the 7 churches in this very large parish.

April 14 Palm Sunday

In all seven Churches from Gandia to El Campello we celebrate Palm Sunday. The feast commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We share a very special communion service, marked by palms and processions, with palm crosses blessed and shared with all.

Our services are at our usual Sunday times – Javea and Albir at 09.45; Calpe at 10.30; Denia at 11.45; and Gandia, El Campello and La Fustera at 12.00. Details of all our services and the locations of the churches can be found on our website at this page – http://costablanca-anglican chaplaincy.org/churches-andservices-3/
