La Nucía Sports Xperience
La Nucia will be hosting the eighth Sport Xperience at the Camilo Cano sports centre over the Easter weekend, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April.
The event has been organized collectively by all the numerous sports clubs within La Nucia and sponsored by the Costa Blanca Tourist Board – with the primary objective of encouraging sport activities for all ages and capabilities over the Easter holidays.
There will be a number of activities, exhibitions, tournaments and competitions over the two days although some – Padbol, Padel, Canicross, E-Sports, Tennis and Skate will need pre-registration to take part.
On Friday evening, the seventh ‘Kedada Nocturna MTB LNSX” – a non-competitive mountain bike ride will take place, setting off at 9pm from the sports centre car park.
During the daytime on Friday 19 there will a number of exhibitions taking place, starting at 10:30am with Hapkido, 10:45am Kick Boxing, 11:00am Muay Thai, 11:15am Rhythmic gymnastics and 11:45am Aerial Dance as well as the La Nucia Canine Club displaying agility of dogs.
Additionally, there will also be exhibitions in the new Cross Fit area on both days and children’s entertainment from 11am till 2pm then again from 4pm until 6pm with an array of bouncy castles, mini golf, climbing, face painting, balloon twisting, archery and many other interactive activities.
There will also be a Classic Car & Motorcycle exhibition courtesy of ‘Garage Rules’, who specialize in building and restoring classic and vintage vehicles on Friday 19 between 5pm and 11:30pm and on Saturday from 11am until midnight.
There will be live music and a variety of food trucks where you will be able to sample a selection of international cuisine plus a number of stalls including an opportunity to get a tattoo or haircut to add to the rock chic atmosphere.
