The battle at the top of the Premier League between Liverpool and Manchester City is matched by the top of 25th A.F.F.L. between Linda's Team Tapas and John's team Wee Aggies.

At the moment Team Tapas have a very fragile 9 point advantage over Wee Aggies with only five weeks to go this season's Fantasy could be decided on the last game of the season. The F.A. Cup final between Watford and Manchester City.

Third placed Andrew's team Ballers had a poor week only scoring 11 points which has left them trailing the leaders by 30 points. At the other end of the table, Gary's team Upside Team have been rooted at the bottom since week 6 and are showing no signs of recovery as they are now 63 points adrift of Richard's team Dunkrat.

Linda's Team Tapas are beginning to take a firm grip at the top of our Mark Carter Ladies Section. They have opened up a 48 point gap over Elaine's team Barbra's XI which could prove to be a bridge to far.

Pauline's Vodka Army are in third place followed by Jin's Dream Team. Down at the foot of the table two teams are standing shoulder to shoulder on level points. Kim's Ginger United and Liz's Cookies Crew are both only 8 points away from Sandra's Brazilian Hooligans.

In our Junior League William and Henry's team have had their advantage at the top slashed to only 25 points by young Ollie's team Olly F.C. Fleetwood Gian have had a couple of good weeks but they still have a mountain to climb if want to catch up to Bez Boden who are 45 points above them.

Our Across the Costa's Golden Boot League is shaping up nicely as we move into the final stages of the season. Kevin's Two for the Road are now coming under pressure from former leaders Bill's East Fifers who are now only 9 points behind them.

We have two Battlions in 3rd and 4th place, Kenny's Albir Boro Army and Big Sam's Army are both waiting for a slip up from the two leaders.

Pauline's Vodka Army regained the top spot of our Champion of Champions League by taking a 12 point lead over Joe's Keith Lard XI.

At the opposite end of the table Leo's Power Blueboys are still chasing Dave's team The Hatters. The gap a very small 8 points.

Bucko's Log End United were this week’s highest scoring team with a tally of 60 points. Three of his Players hit double figures. Hazard (14), Pogba (12) and Burnley's Chris Wood (12) were all amongst the goals last week.

Two of our ladies teams got the lowest score of only 5 points and they were Gil's Kippax and Mrs Max and Paddy. All 3 teams will go into our monthly wine draw.
