Moraira has the most expensive properties in the province

MORAIRA continues to be the Valencian golden mile of the housing market.

At the end of 2019, the coastal town achieved the highest prices in the Valencia region in regard to second-hand homes. This is what the annual sales price report of www.pisos.com pointed out.

According to its report, second-hand housing in the Valencian region as a whole in December 2019 had an average price of €1,429 per square metre, 2.8% more than in December 2018.

However, in the last few months of the year there was a stagnation of prices in the region, and even a decrease. In the second half of 2019, the average drop in prices was 1.52%, and in the last quarter, 0.40%.

Moraira, at €2,824 euros per sqm, had the most expensive housing. However, the price of housing in Moraira fell significantly – by 14.18% - in the last quarter of the year, according to the same study, despite which the town continues to lead the rankings.

Outside the Marina Alta, Altea and Benidorm were above the prices of the three provincial capitals (Alicante, Valencia and Castellón).
