E.S.I.A. (formerly Chatycharla) We believe that we are one of the largest groups on the Costa Blanca that can offer face to face conversation for free.

It's free to join and you can come and go when you like. All of our members give up their free time to teach and learn English and Spanish.

We meet on Tuesdays and Fridays between 17.30 and 20.30. We are situated on the first floor above the university library, Biblioteca Bellas Artes (UMH) in Altea or you can contact Martin by email: esia4you @gmail.com

CHUMS (friends of charity) is a small but very friendly group. We have Coffee Mornings, Lunches and quizzes and we warmly welcome new members.

We mainly support local food banks, hoping to give a little extra to those less fortunate than ourselves while giving our members social events. Why not come along and meet us, Our next events are:

It was a right royal night on Monday at the Benitachell Bowls club when the three kings, along with their queens, followed up by their complete entourage, wined, dined, danced and generally whooped it up in celebration.

James Hurst provided the music which kept the dance floor heaving and the calories disappearing!

HELP is a fully registered charity. We are an organisation which provides help to all English-speaking residents and visitors of all nationalities in emergencies and in time of need. We have a good neighbour scheme, interpretations and short term loan of equipment. We have social events and raffles.

All donations are used to help the local community. Please see our website for more information or email us. We meet once a week on Thursdays at 10.30am in the Jose Llorca Linares Social Centre located by the Foietes car park. Bus numbers 1 and 8 will take you to the nearby tram station. Come along and make some new friends, we are a friendly bunch.
