Vistabella Bowls Club

This week started really well with the Drivers (Discovery division) playing Monte Mar Matadors at home, and winning 11-3, with 109 shots to 101. In the morning the Eagles (Voyager division) won against Greenlands Chestnuts 8-6, shots for 102 against 101 - a really tight, hard fought game. The Eagles also played last weeks cancelled match on Tuesday against the Greenlands Beeches, winning 12-2, with 127 shots for and 85 against. This was a really good result for the Eagles.

In the Wednesday Winter League, sponsored by Laguna Tavern, Entre Naranjos, Vistabella were at home to La Siesta and won 9-3, with 103 shots for and 64 against.

Playing their cancelled match due to weather, the Drivers, fielding a weakened team, were away to Greenlands Sycamores on Thursday, and did well by just losing 8-6, with 99 shots for and 113 against.

Friday saw the Lanzadores (Division A) at home to San Miguel Bulldogs playing with a good win of 12-2 shots, with 132 for and 82 against. The Picadors were away to Monte Mar Toreadores (Southern league division B) and lost 9-5, with 85 shots for and 98 against. It was a really tight match with just a few shots dictating the score.

Finally the Conquistadores (C division) were at home to San Luis Jaguars and lost in a tight match 5-9, with shots 92 to 97 - very close.
