Calpe Beacon
The aim of Calpe Beacon (Tax reg. 54914007) is to improve the lives of underprivileged young people.
Due to the pressing needs of our local children's home to improve the quality of life in the premises, Calpe Beacon decided to diversify from our ethos of only supporting the needs of individual young
Last week we ran a feature in the new pages on the incredible work that local Benidorm resident Sue Southern was doing – sewing face masks and distributing them for free in the community.
.One very grateful recipient of a batch of masks was the 3C’s Care Agency, enabling their carers to keep safe and carry on their important work, which generally involves visiting and caring for the sick and elderly who would otherwise see no-one else all day.
The girls would like to say a huge thank you to Sue. people, to improving the accommodation of children in the care of our local authority and administrative charity. Children in care rarely have the same social opportunities as their peer group.
Our current fundraising activities are aimed at improving life experiences for these young people.
Further funds are required to meet this objective.
