CARTAGENA
THE RETURN OF THE ROMANS
Cartagena’s Roman forum district – which includes the archaeological remains of the thermal baths, the banquet hall and the temple of the goddess Isis – is open again to visits. City hall noted that the site has been chosen as it stands in the open air and two-metre social distancing can easily be observed. The Roman forum district will be open from Friday to Sunday. Tickets cost €4 – or €8 including the museum of the Roman theatre.

AUTOCINE DRIVE-IN REOPENS
This drive-in cinema in Denia is the first film theatre in the region to reopen.
Entries cost €5 per person and will cover both films, but the car goes free, and can be bought online from https://autocinedrivein.com, which can be switched into English if required. Gates open at 19.30, then the first fillm is on at 21.30 and second one will be on show at 23.00.
FINESTRAT KAYAKING AT NIGHT
Jul 5: Night kayaking session to coincide with the lunar eclipse, when the moon moves into the Earth’s shadow which can only occur on the night of a full moon. PEOPLE TALKING SPANISH - ENGLISH
The popular Javea Language Exchange is back in action allowing people to improve their Spanish and English conversation.
The language interchange takes place every Tuesday evening at Cafe Cortado in Javea Port from 19.00. Meetings were suspended at the start of the Covid-19 health crisis and the group is back offering the opportunity to exchange language skills in a friendly atmosphere.
LA NUCIA OPEN FOR SPORT
The Agility dogs sports area, BMX bikes and Radio Control cars circuit within the Camilo Cano Sports centre in La Nucia are all now open from July 10. All at reduced capacity and within the current health restrictions.

FREE ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
A complete programme of activities aimed at learning about our natural heritage and environmental education especially for the youngest. L’Ampolla beach will be the place chosen for the environmental workshops for children from 5 to 14 years old that will take place in July, Thursday 30, and in August on Thursday 6 from 09.30 to 13.30. The activities to be carried out are:
Our coastal biodiversity: workshop with the aim of highlighting the importance of the Mediterranean Sea in general, and of the coastline of the municipality of Teulada Moraira in particular, including the Protected Natural Spaces present in it.
Verde Posidonia: activity to promote the respectful, sustainable and appropriate behaviour of the users of the beaches and coves of Teulada Moraira through good practices in favour of the conservation of said heritage, highlighting the important role of the grasslands of posidonia of the beaches in the conservation of biodiversity.
Let's stop climate change: seeks to share with participants the main consequences of climate change on coastal populations, emphasising the role of the Posidonia while promoting the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste in our daily lives.
NIGHT HIKING ROUTES
Interpretive hiking night routes have been organised with the aim of using the town's environmental and cultural values as tourist resources, putting them in value through sustainable activities that respect the environment and its inhabitants.
Each route, intended for all ages, will have a guide and its registration at the tourist info office will be free.

VALENCIA TITANIC EXHIBITION
Valencia’s exhibition on the infamous Titanic vessel has been extended yet again and will remain open until September 13.
‘Titanic: The Exhibition’ has been up and running in the city’s Kinépolis shopping centre, enjoying much success since arriving. With close to 200 original items and a thorough recap of how the massive ship set sail and eventually sank, there is more than enough to warrant a visit by anyone who has any sort of interest on this topic.
The exhibition had to close down during the state of alarm caused by the coronavirus, but it has since reopened and is once again welcoming visitors to its installations.
BENISSA SAFE SUMMER SCHOOL
There is an alternative project to the traditional summer or multi-sport schools, and aim to offer a completely free service with all safety measures adhered to.
'OciActiu Benissa' is the new name given to the package of activities organised by the council. They began on Wednesday, July 1, and will end on 30 August. 'OciActiu Benissa' will be divided into activities for students from first to fourth grade, and for the older children from fifth grade of primary to fourth of ESO. The first group will have a maximum of 30 members and the second will have a maximum of 16.
The activities will start at 09.00 and end at 13.00. They will include swimming, pilates and yoga. The older children will be able to enjoy basketball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. The latter will start one hour later at 10.00 but also end at 13.00. Registration two days in advance is necessary by calling 966 10 84 80, or on WhatsApp at 662 37 83 39 or by emailing recepcionpiscina@ajbenissa.es. Each child may participate two days per week.
JÁVEA URBAN SUMMER CAMP
There's a cure to help cure the summertime blues in Javea for teenagers with the town hall the opportunity to enjoy an organised urban summer camp in the old town.
Open to 13 to 16-year-olds and organised by the town hall’s department of youth, the camp is split into two editions and runs Monday to Friday from July 20 to July 31.
Strict Covid-19 regulations to create a ‘safe area’ in the Plaza de la Constitucion, the PlayJove building and the Riu Rau in the old town will be in place. It costs €100 to attend and the ‘a different summer’ camp runs from 09.00 to 14.00 each day those taking part will be involved in sport, fun challenges and helped with learning English and maths.

And those taking part are expected to arrive each day armed with lunch, a bottle of water, cap, two masks, a notebook, pencils and a backpack; all should have been disinfected previously at home.
