Items that are being returned, such as books and dvd s ´ will be placed in a container and disinfected with virucidal then stored for 14 days before being opened.
Each container will be marked with the return date and 14day quarantine date, after which it will be safe to return the items onto the shelves.
Those wanted to borrow items will not be allowed to browse but instead will have to request the items from staff, who will fetch them. During this period, users can reserve items via phone or email so that they can be ready for collection. Find out at your town hall about the nearest library and their new rules.
