SANTA POLA WORLD TOURISM DAY ACTIVITIES TORREVIEJA TAPAS TOUR
September 27: ‘ Tourism and rural development’ is a series of activities celebrating World Tourism Day. The activities have strictly limited numbers and all hygiene protocols will be applied, including the obligatory wearing of masks. Hosted by the director of municipal museums María José Cerdá Bertoméu. At the Baluarte del Duque in the castle fortress. Registration on 96 541 62 23 12.3013.30: Guided visit to the Portus Roman house in the Parque del Palmeral. The activity will explain the European Fund for Regional Development ( FEDER) and how it has helped support the excavation works at the Portus Ilicitanus archaeological site. Until September 27: A total of 23 bars and restaurants are taking part in the fifth Torrevieja Nos Vamos de Tapas ( we’re going for tapas) tour. All of the participating outlets are offering a tapa and a drink for € 2.50. The offer runs from 12.0016.30 and 19.0023.00 on all days. Visitors will also be able to vote for their favourite tapas and be in with a chance of winning one of four prizes, including tasting menus for two people, up to a value of € 50.
