IF YOU’RE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT
If you’re involved in an accident Línea Directa recommends you take the following course of action. At the scene of the accident, never admit it was your fault, the might be other drivers at fault who contributed to the accident. Swap details of drivers involved including mobile telephone numbers and names of their insurance company. Make sure you take a note of the licence plates of the other cars involved. Inform your insurance company straight away even if you don’t intend to make a claim. Collect evidence and take any photographs of the accident scene especially if you need to make a claim.
GUARANTEED REPLACEMENT CAR
If your car is immobilised due to accident, then Línea Directa will provide you with a free replacement vehicle, up to category of group C rental car, and for a maximum period of 5 days. A guaranteed replacement vehicle comes as part of their additional Travel Assistance cover.
Línea Directa’s first priority is to get your car repaired as efficiently as possible. If your car is a total write off, then a replacement vehicle will be provided for a maximum period of 15 days. And any claims made against you by any other drivers involved; will be dealt by us in your language, and with all documentation translated.
