Just when we were looking forward – boom! Close down

JUST when we thought that life in the Vall del Pop community was stabilising, we have now been advised of new restrictions to help to try and combat the number of Covid19 infections that are increasing in our area.

The main restriction being implemented that will affect our activities, is that only six members are being allowed to meet, either indoors or outdoors.

Bob and the committee have taken the responsible decision to cancel all meetings, events and trips until further notice.

A full list of the new restrictions will be shown on the website, in the next few days , and it is envisaged that these restrictions will be in place for the next six weeks.

Groups: A number of our groups have been meeting, but all members should be aware that groups can now only meet with a maximum of six. Those groups that wish to function with this limitation can do so, but at their own discretion. Groups using Zoom etc are of course still able to operate as before.

Travel, Culture and Entertainment Team ( TCET): after all their hard work are having to cancel all events and trips planned for the remainder of the year.

We will keep you informed of any future changes and hopefully 2021 will be a much better year and things can get back to some form of new normality.
