39.5TH CARTAGENA JAZZ FESTIVAL
October 31November 21: What was due to be the 40th Cartagena jazz festival takes place from October 31November 21.
The event annually attracts performers from around the globe, who make the event a celebration of the wideranging sounds that are all accommodated under the ‘ jazz’ banner. Due to the restrictions caused by the pandemic this year’s event will feature a line up consisting of entirely Spanish musicians, a country, incidentally, that boasts some of the best jazz performers on the planet.
The restriction, however, have led the organisers to rename it the 39.5th Cartagena jazz festival, enabling next year’s event to be the 40th, where, all things being equal, they should be able to announce a full international line up.
Full details of this year’s line up will be released shortly
