O N O ctober 2 1 we fished section A 3 of the riv er J ú car. T he day started with a g reat turnout with 1 6 contestants. B est catch of 1 8 .7 2 5 k g ’ s on the end peg by J ason L awson on peg No1 2 . T he second best catch of the day was on peg 1 4 by M alcolm H unt 1 7 .7 8 k g ’ s. A lso best specimen fish of this season so far of 6 .9 2 5 k g ’ s ( 1 5 .2 lbs), two g reat catches. W ater temperature was 2 0 deg rees, outside temperature rose throug hout the day to 2 5 deg rees after a cloudy start.

O ur master of all thing s small was ag ain in action this week with 2 0 fish and a total weig ht of 5 0 0 g r. A total of 7 2 fish were caug ht with a total weig ht of 1 1 1 k g with only two members returning an empty nets. T he president was trying a new g round bait, but still not much luck . M aybe putting some bait on the hook mig ht help. T he riv er was lik e a mill pond yet ag ain mak ing fishing v ery pleasant. O v erall a g ood day's fishing and look forward to seeing you all nex t week
