MONTSERRAT MARTÍ CABALLÉ AND LES PETITS CHANTEURS DE SAINT MARC
March 13: Homage to the Spanish soprano Montserrat Caballé, featuring her daughter, and sometime stage partner, Montserrat Martí Caballé and world-renowned Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint Marc (The little singers of Saint Marc) from France at Teatro Principal. Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint Marc known in Spain as Los Chicos del Coro, first came to international recognition in the 2004 film The Chorus (Les Choristes), when they were the film’s main protagonists. MURCIA’S popular ‘Mochila de actividades’ (activities backpack) initiative returns for two events during what is left of this month.
This Sunday (March 14) there is a four kilometre, lowdifficulty walk in the Sierra Espuña entitled ‘La primavera el bosque altera’ (spring alters the forest) that invites participants to learn about the changes that this habitat experiences with the change of season.
The walk takes place from 10.30-13.30.
On Sunday, March
28 there are visits to the wildlife recovery centre in El Valle y Carrascoy regional park, at 10.00 and 12.00. The activity is suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Each activity is limited to a maximum of 20 participants, with a maximum of five people per booking.
Minors must be accompanied
by an adult.
The use of masks, hydroalcoholic gel and social distancing are essential.
