ALTEA’S ‘hermitage route’ concert cycle gets underway on Thursday, April 7.

The event features a total of 10 musical performanc­es at different religious buildings throughout the municipali­ty.

Admission to all performanc­es is free and the capacity at each venue is limited.

All current Covid health regulation­s will be applied.

Here is the schedule: Thursday, April 7 at 19.30: Altea la Vella recreation­al music society (SRM) brass quintet at Santa Ana/Altea la Vella church

Friday, April 8 at 19.30: Musicaltea-Scherzo Strings at Villa Gadea chapel

Saturday, April 9 at 12.00: Ars Cantica camerata from

Benidorm, directed by Jaume F Ripoll with pianist María Eugenia Palomares at Santa Bárbara hermitage

Sunday, April 10 at 18.00: Harmonie Ensemble directed by Francisco Javier Gutiérrez with the soloists Pedro Vicente and Miguel Puchol at La Mare de Déu del Consol parish church

Monday, April 11 at 19.00: Cabanilles trio perform Tubarum Convivium: Two trumpets and organ, featuring Raúl Junquera, Miguel Cerezo and Vicente Ros at Sant Isidre hermitage
