Villajoyosa videogame party
VILLAJOYOSA town hall is organising the 2023 edition of the Vilagame Party, which is intended to promote recreational activities as an alternative to alcohol for the municipality’s youths.
The event takes place at the Casa de la Joventut on Friday, February 10 from 16.00-22.00, and will feature a gaming zone with PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, as well as mobile phone, simulator and virtual reality zones.
There will be activities including major videogame tournaments.
Smartphones, tablets, computers and portable consoles such as Nintendo Switch will not be provided, but the organisers will be offering a space for people to bring their own portable device, should they wish.
“Youths of all ages can enjoy an extensive programme of activities in which there will be no shortage of competitions in favourite video games, such as FIFA 23, Fortnite, Just Dance, Clash
Royale, Rocket League, Brawl Stars, Roblox, amongst others.
In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy virtual reality, driving simulators and other classic video games, with the aim of breaking down the stigma of video games and promoting their virtues as a form of alternative leisure among young people,” said Villajoyosa mayor Andreu Verdú.
